Food is excellent. On point even. But that's not where your experience will end. Honestly, from the minute my wife and I walked in, we both agree. It's the staff and cleanliness of the entire place. Including restrooms. Staff talked to us like we were on friend terms. This is my first time here. And now we will be by here more often. Food was great and affordable as well.

Love it!! Blown away!!! This place almost seems too nice for Battle Ground, and I say that as someone who's lived here for nearly 30 years. So what do I like about it? Well, for starters, it's still called "Al & Ernie's". I really appreciate that. Battle Ground has so little history that's made it into the current year so to keep something as iconic as "Al & Ernie's" is meaningful. The care and effort that has gone into renovating the building is excellent. It looks so nice inside and out that, again, I wonder if it's too nice for us I would come here just for the Jambon. The fact that they make their own baguettes makes the Jambon a MUST EAT! I also really enjoyed the Cardamom buns, definitely the best version of those I've ever had. So often they're too dense and under-flavored, but not these! The poppyseed muffins were absolutely worth the purchase as well. My hot chocolate was not very well made. They were very busy when I came in and I think my cocoa slipped through the cracks. It didn't taste much like chocolate; it was very watery. When I got down to the bottom I learned where all the chocolate had been! Mistakes happen though, so I'm not upset about it. I am not a big fan of cream cheese frosting so the cinnamon rolls weren't anything special to me. HOWEVER, they were very well made and nice and soft so if you are a fan of cream cheese frosting you will absolutely adore them! This has become a long review, so just know that I will definitely be coming back here to try more menu items!! This is just what Old Town needed!

A must, if your in the area. We stopped at lunch. It was delicious. Tomato Bisque and a grilled cheese on sourdough. Remember to grab some cinnamon rolls for later.

Enjoyed a delicious breakfast date here with my sisters. I had the Lox bagel and a mocha—both were fantastic! The staff was lovely, the food was flavorful, and the atmosphere was so peaceful. I can't wait to visit again!

I drove over 30 minutes to visit this bakery & I was not disappointed. When I tell you the line was all the way to the door, I mean the line was all the way to the door. I spent a little time with the door open as I was standing in line. This was on a Saturday around 10 am. The line went faster than I expected. They were putting fresh food in the case before I started ordering. I ordered the cinnamon roll, black forest Cornetto, and the honey lavender iced latte. I spent a little less than 20, which I was happy with. The food was fresh, soft, and delicious. You could taste the lavender in the latte, which was a huge plus for me. The icing on the cinnamon roll was sweet but not too sweet. The Cornetto was generously filled. Every worker I encountered was friendly. I will be traveling back to get another taste.

Everything is so good here! My favorite items are their cornettos which taste like upscale cream filled donuts or their amazingly moist cinnamon rolls. The bagels are also incredible - so much better than anything you’ll find at a grocery store. My husband and I got the biscuits and gravy and a lox bagel sandwich on our last visit and both were delicious!

These guys had some amazing pastries and out of this world Chai tea. I'm super picky about both. The pastries were plentiful with a wide variety. The Chai tea was, I can't even describe it. It was perfection in a cup. One of the owners stopped by a couple of times to check on us. He is from Ft Collins Colorado. I now live in Denver. He explained how they got their Chai tea. I'd definitely order it again. I saw biscuits and gravy ready to be picked up by someone. It looked delicious. I need to try it. They were out when I was there.

“Fantastic spot! The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, and there’s plenty of space — even on a busy weekend it doesn’t feel crowded. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is attentive. A great place for a family dinner or catching up with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back!”
